Team CTM at the 2017 Longines Pro-Am Cup Monaco

C Transport Maritime S.A.M is pleased to announce that we are officially sponsoring two athletes in this year’s Longines Pro-Am Cup in Monaco.

The competition is part of Longines Global Champions Tour this year marks the 12th time the competition has been run in Monaco. It takes place in Monaco’s world famous Port Hercule, which in May was the scene of Sebastian Vettel‘s famous win for the Scuderia Ferrari F1 team, securing the team their first win in Monaco for 16 years.

The Longines Pro-Am Cup takes place tomorrow, Friday 23rd of June 2017 after the world ranking trails have come to a close. The teams consist of one professional rider and one amateur rider, riding in a relay format and wearing the livery of their sponsor. The team that records the fastest over all time will win the Longines Pro-Am Cup.

The team of Abdel Saïd and Milena-Maria Pappa will be sporting the colours of CTM and we wish them all the best. Both of our riders in this event have many years of experience in the saddle behind them.

Abdel Saïd is our professional rider for this year’s tournament comes from Egypt. He achieved a Team Silver and was a Bronze medallist at the 2007 Pan Arab Games, at the 2011 Pan Arab Games he added a team Bronze to his collection and competed in the 2014 World Equestrian Games.

Milena-Maria Pappa is our Amateur rider and will be kicking things off for Team CTM. She is from Greece, she currently has four event wins under her belt and we hope that tomorrow will be number five. But that isn’t her whole story in the past 3 years she has been on the podium a total of four times.
