CTM's Cocktail Party at The Peninsula Tokyo
On Wednesday the 15th of March, C Transport Maritime S.A.M returned to Japan for the first time since 2018, to host a Cocktail Reception in the Grand Ballroom at The Peninsula Tokyo for our Japanese friends, clients, and partners.
Around 150 people from 50 companies attended the event which we are happy to report was a great success. Guests included Japanese trading houses, charterers, brokers, shipyards, local owners and leasing companies. It was attended by members of our Executive, Commercial and Operations teams.
Our teams enjoyed returning to this great shipping nation as we expanded upon our existing relationships and built new ones. Over the years CTM has done close to 30 sale and purchase transactions with Japanese counterparties and conducted 300 years’ worth of long-term charters with local owners and trading houses spanning 46 vessels with 23 different owners.

During the event, our CEO John Michael Radziwill spoke about how happy he was to return to Japan and the appreciation that he has always had for the honourable and respectful way that the Japanese conduct business. He also spoke about how he values the relationships that CTM has built with Japan over the years:
