CTM awarded 2016 Green Flag Award by the Port of Long Beach

C Transport Maritime S.A.M. is very happy to announce that it has been awarded the 2016  Green Flag Award, by the Port of Long Beach. This award is part of the Port of Long Beach’s voluntary speed reduction program at the tier 2 level. This award is given to ship operators whose vessels slowed their speed 40 nautical miles before calling at the port. CTM is focused on playing our role in the reduction of the shipping industry’s carbon footprint. Participating in such programs as this from the Port of Long Beach, is a small part of our goal to reach the highest possible standards that we can. This is all part of our larger Corporate Social Responsibility strategy looking to help lead the dry bulk shipping industry to a greener future.
